Rules for parking a caravan or camper

Are you going on holiday soon with your caravan or camper? There are a number of rules for parking your caravan or camper. What is allowed and what is not?

Maximum three days parking

Camping equipment may be parked on public spaces for a maximum of three consecutive days. It is prohibited to move these vehicles a few metres after a number of days. If you still want to park these vehicles for a longer period, this is possible for a maximum of 30 days on a number of places designated by the municipality.

The designated places are in:

Geldrop:

  • Industrial Estate Piggy Bank
  • Industrial estate Spaarpot-Oost
  • The part of the Hooge Akker industrial estate from the DAF site to the overhead high-voltage line
  • Parking lot at sports fields on the Winde

Mierlo:

  • Tramway
  • Industrial Road
  • Industrial Road
  • Ambachtweg from the junction with the Geldropseweg service road to the end of the Ambachtweg, which runs parallel to the Geldropseweg.

To enforce

If you have parked your caravan or camper on the public road, we ask you to take this period into account. If your caravan or camper is parked too long, we can take enforcement action.
