Requesting announcement digital signs

What is it?

There are information boards in various places in the municipality. Announcements and important information are placed on these. In total there are 7 screens, divided over Geldrop and Mierlo. The information screens are at the following locations:

  1. Mierloseweg Geldrop (Villapark)
  2. Bekelaar Mierlo (Auction)
  3. Geldropseweg Mierlo (TV tower)
  4. Eindhovenseweg Geldrop (DAF)
  5. Nuenenseweg Geldrop (Spaarpot)
  6. Geldropseweg Mierlo (Municipality Yard)
  7. Bogardeind Geldrop (NH Hotel)

What to do?

Requesting digital announcement

You provide the text for the information sign yourself. The text consists of up to 4 lines of up to 19 characters per line (including spaces). There is no room for a logo. You arrange your request using the digital form at least 4 weeks before the event.

How does it work?

What will be posted?

  • Announcements of local events/activities of interest to Geldrop and/or Mierlo. The event or activity does not have to be subject to a permit.
  • Announcements (notices) from the municipality that vary weekly, from: recreation/tourism, sports, Health, exercise, education, space (public works), public order and safety, communications and information.

What will not be posted?

  • Advertising messages (e.g. from stores)
  • Political messages
  • Offensive messages

How long does it take?

You must submit your application at least 4 weeks before the event. This gives the Support Department time to process and post the application. The notice is posted on the digital boards 2 weeks before the event, until the event ends.

What does it cost?

Posting an announcement on the digital screens is free.
