Collection
What is it?
To hold a collection or fundraiser, you must apply for a permit from the municipality. If you are holding a collection or fundraiser in private, you do not need to apply for a permit.
What to do.
Collections permit application
If you have received a continuous collection permit in the past and want to report that you are using this collection permit during the assigned period (according to the collection rosterr of the Central Bureau for Fundraising). Then please use the form.
How does it work?
The municipality checks whether your organization is registered with the Central Bureau for Fundraising and whether your collection takes place in a free period on the national collection schedule. Permits can only be granted for free periods. Through this link you can see when a free period is https://www.cbf.nl/collecterooster .
Associations and foundations from Geldrop-Mierlo do not have to be registered with the CBF, but they do have to choose a free period.
How long does it take?
You will be notified within 8 weeks whether you will receive the permit. If the municipality does not decide within this period, you will automatically receive the permit to collect.
Objecting
If you disagree with the municipality's decision, you can object within 6 weeks.
