Organizational structure
The municipal organization consists of 11 teams and the staff. The teams are explained below.
Concern Management Team
The Concern Management Team (CMT) consists of the municipal secretary/general manager and 2 concern managers. Together they are responsible for the line (basis op orde), substantive programs and organizational development. In this they work closely with the team managers of the 10 teams. The team manager is integrally responsible for the team. This means that they steer the realization of goals and developments, which stem from line work and programs. They also work hard to create an inspiring and learning work environment and have an eye for the well-being and personal development of colleagues.
Team Strategy and Policy Space
Ensures the (policy) development and implementation of the vision and strategy in the areas: housing, urban planning, land matters, tourism, economic affairs, recreation and tourism, traffic and accessibility, public housing.
Team Realization
Deals with management, maintenance and civil engineering projects. It deals with matters in public spaces, such as roads, water, parks and lighting. This team also deals with Geo information, cultural engineering and supervision of works.
Spatial Implementation Team
Focuses on permitting, land use planning, waste and environment, sustainability and property management.
Outdoor Services and Sports Hall Management Team.
Consists of field service, emergency service and the sports hall managers.
Team Public Affairs
Is an important entry point for customer contacts (via telephone, counter and digital) and handles many municipal products. There are three task areas: the first line, the second line and the Extraordinary Civil Registrars. Management assistants and the administrative secretariat also belong to the Public Affairs team.
Livability and Safety Team
Is committed to a safe and pleasant living environment in the municipality, where enforcement is not an end in itself, but part of a broader vision of livability.
Team Support
Provides the organization, board and management with appropriate advice and provides them with the facilities, where necessary, to carry out the work. Within the Support team are fields such as communications, facility management and legal affairs.
Team Strategy and Policy Society
Ensures the (policy) development and implementation of the vision and strategy in the areas of the social domain, welfare, culture and sports.
Income and Access Team
Works from the customer journey and is the first to speak to residents with a request for help. If the client's request for help cannot be addressed within a number of shorter contacts, the question is passed on to colleagues from Health & Youth or Income. The team consists of three subteams: Access, Income (debt assistance and special assistance) and Administration.
Team Health and Youth
Is there for clients who have support or assistance questions in the area of WMO / social supportHealth) and for families when it comes to assistance questions around parenting and growing up children of all ages (Youth).
Staff
Supports the organization with strategic advice, process optimization, and legal and information management expertise.
