What is needed for a vibrant and social Mierlo?

We all want Mierlo to be and remain a vibrant and pleasant village. A village where people look out for each other and where there really is something to do. How can we achieve this together? And what kind of meeting places and locations do you need? Between August 15 and September 15 you can let your opinion be heard. 

What is needed to enjoy living in Mierlo? What do Mierlon residents need when it comes to meeting people? And what interpretation do they want to give to social locations? Together with inhabitants, the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo wants to make an integral plan for social real estate in Mierlo.

On the road in Mierlo

Together with a number of Mierlon residents we have made plans to involve as many as possible and to let them think along. With postcards, beer mats, lego, a cherry tour and a real tour bus we will be on the road between August 15 and September 15 to talk to residents.

Let your opinion be heard  

During the period from August 15 to September 15, there are several opportunities to voice your opinion. You can have your opinion heard by: 

  • At various locations in Mierlo between August 15 and September 15, scan a QR code. This code will take you to a number of questions about what is needed in Mierlo. You can also indicate what you think of the current places. Do you want to know where? Then take a look at the tour guide. 
  • Come to our "colorful bus" on Thursday, Sept. 9, during the weekly market in Mill Square.  
  • Come to our "colorful bus" on Sunday, September 12, during the Monument Festival. We will be happy to engage with you then.

What will we do with the information we collect? 

The information we collect in this process will be used to formulate the future integral real estate policy for the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo. The information will also be included in the preparation of the Environmental Vision. Now it is about meeting, on September 20 we like to talk to you about other themes in Mierlo.
