Feasibility Study for the Stadteland Development Fund in Geldrop-Mierlo

Since January, a broad-based steering committee has been exploring the establishment of the Stadteland Development Fund for Geldrop-Mierlo. By pooling resources, a structural budget will be created for projects that offer social value. The name “Stadteland” refers to the strength of Geldrop-Mierlo’s dual urban and rural character. The fund brings stakeholders together to invest in the municipality’s future.

Dealing with an overloaded power grid

We are using more and more electricity due to factors such as the shift from natural gas to electricity, an increase in rooftop solar panels, and the construction of new residential and commercial areas. The power grid also needs to be expanded. In addition, we are increasingly using electricity at the same time. This causes the power grid to become overloaded. This problem is also known as grid congestion.
