Environmental Plan

On Jan. 1, 2024, the Omgevingswet went into effect. This changes things in the procedures of permits and zoning plans. The Omgevingswet combines all rules for the living environment in one law. Simultaneously with the Omgevingswet , the Building Quality Assurance Act (Wkb) will also be introduced. The purpose of the Wkb is to increase construction quality.

Genoenhuis Environmental Plan

Every municipality has one environmental plan. This contains all rules on spatial planning, environment, health and safe living environment. We are going to convert the current environment plan into a final plan. For this we start in the Genoenhuis neighborhood. How we do that you can read here.

Environmental Vision

Through the Environmental Vision, the municipal council sets out the broad outlines of spatial policy for our municipality. Our Environmental Vision is available for viewing via the Environmental Service Portal.
