Measures sports clubs, associations and foundations
- Adults aged 27 and older may play sports with up to 4 people outside on sports facilities. Requirements are that they keep a distance of 1.5 meters. Until the age of 26, sports at sports facilities were already allowed, in teams, without keeping 1.5 meters distance. In addition, municipalities are allowed to organize sports activities at other locations.
- Children up to age 17 may play sports as a team and may play games among themselves, as well as alone outside.
- Accommodations for indoor sports are closed.
- Matches are not allowed. Excluded are:
- Top athletes with status in designated venues (such as Papendal).
- Footballers (including other personnel in "bubble") of the Eredivisie and First Division.
- Starting Dec. 17, top athletes in the top sports leagues will be allowed to train and play matches again. For them, national competition is important to keep in touch with the international top. While playing sports, the distance measure does not apply and they are also allowed to play sports with more than four people and be in one room with more than 30 people in this exceptional case.
