Remodeling Sint Jozefplein in Geldrop

With the renovation of St. Joseph's Church nearing completion, it is time to address St. Joseph's Square. The design adopted in 2020 is no longer valid. This is due in part to the delay in the process by Covid-19 and new understandings of policy. This gives us a new opportunity to work with you to create a final design that fits what our neighborhood needs.

A better appearance of the square

The goal of the redevelopment is to give St. Joseph Square a better look, with more greenery and space for both young and old. In addition, there will be more parking spaces and the environment will be more in keeping with the new homes in St. Joseph's Church. With the addition of a catering location and terrace, the square will become a pleasant meeting place where people gather.

Think along during the walk-in meeting!

We are approaching this process in such a way that residents, business owners and other stakeholders have the opportunity to make all ideas and wishes known. We therefore invite you to think (again) about the redevelopment of Sint Jozefplein during the walk-in meeting on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

• Date: Wednesday, March 20, 2024

• Time: walk-in between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

• Location: pop-up tent in St. Joseph's Square

During the meeting we will review the preliminary design (VO) together and discuss opportunities and bottlenecks. All this while enjoying a nice cup of coffee or tea. After the meeting we finalize the design.
