What is it?

Geldrop-Mierlo is of and for everyone, a place where everyone feels part of the community, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion or, for example, financial situation. People feel part of our community and participate in that community.

Volunteer and community organizations help connect residents in associations, at sports clubs, through school or work. With subsidies, we encourage these social activities and increase the well-being of residents.

In Geldrop-Mierlo, you can apply for four grants:

• One-time grant: grant for an activity of a one-time or experimental nature.
• Structural grant: grant provided per calendar year or for an annually recurring activity.
• Area-based grant: a grant to organize neighborhood, street, or district activities.
• Skill promotion grant: a grant for participation in courses or training by volunteers of a foundation or association.
