Pest control is not an official responsibility of the municipality. The municipality only takes action in public spaces when public health is at risk. For example, if the nuisance caused by pests is so severe that an entire neighborhood or district is at risk of disease. By carefully identifying where the risks are greatest and by staying vigilant together, we ensure that everyone can be safe outdoors. The approach in public spaces isn’t the same everywhere. The difference mainly comes down to one question: how many people are coming?
