Pitch applications
What is it?
If you want to sell items or food from a stall or sales cart, you need to apply for a pitch permit from the municipality. You may then stand with your stall or cart in a public place in the open air. For example, on or near the public road.
You can apply for a pitch if you:
- Is registered with the Chamber of Commerce
- have the capacity to act
How does it work?
A permit is required from the municipality to occupy a booth. Not everywhere can a stand place be taken. In a stand policy, the municipality has established stand locations, among other things.
The policy rules do not apply to permanent booths at the weekly market, annual fair, or event.
What to do.
How long does it take?
You will be notified within 8 weeks whether you will receive the permit. If there is a waiting list or the municipality has set a maximum then it may take longer for you to receive the permit.
Objecting
If you disagree with the municipality's decision you can object within 6 weeks.
