Do you have a question about Health yourself, your child(ren), or someone else in your life? Or a question about your income? For these matters, please contact the municipality’s Center for Social Participation (CMD). You can reach out if you’re looking for: 

  • Youth assistance: guidance and support in growing up and educating children and youth. 
  • Guidance and/or support for requests for assistance in various areas of life (Wmo: Social Support Act).
  • Income Support. You may be able to get income support if you have a low income at the welfare level. 
  • Debt assistance. Here you can get help if you have debts or arrears that you can no longer manage on your own.

CMD & PlusTeam Methodology

The CMD

If you have a question about any of the topics listed below, please contact us. A staff member will first discuss your situation with you and work with you to explore possible solutions. It’s possible that your issue can be resolved with advice, information, or assistance from your own network or general services. If it turns out that more support is needed, a referral can be made under the Wmo. After the referral, you’ll have a meeting with a client advisor or consultant to further discuss your situation and your request for assistance.

The PlusTeam

The PlusTeam offers voluntary help to residents of the municipalities Geldrop-Mierlo and Waalre who have been referred by the CMD or Safe Home. The PlusTeam works from the idea: 1 household - 1 plan. Together with the family, the PlusTeam keeps the overview and directs where necessary, but does not take over. The goal is that residents can continue their lives as independently as possible.

Being active and participating
