Board of Mayor and Aldermen
The College of Mayor and Aldermen (B&W) is the daily administration of the municipality. The municipal council appoints the aldermen. Geldrop-Mierlo has five aldermen, in addition the mayor and the town clerk are part of the college. The mayor is the chairman of the college.
The college deals with the preparation and implementation of council proposals, executes laws and ensures that decisions of the city council are carried out. The mayor and aldermen have divided tasks: the so-called portfolio division. They meet every Tuesday. These meetings are not public, but a decision list of each meeting is made public.

The town clerk is the head of the civil service organization and is the liaison between the board of mayor and aldermen and the municipal organization.

Geldrop-Mierlo is a pleasant and safe place to live and work where people like to live and where there is an atmosphere that encourages people to work together to make Geldrop-Mierlo a livable municipality, sparkling with positive energy and where inhabitants tackle and solve problems together.
A municipality where everyone has the opportunity to be themselves, to develop and to work towards a bright future. A municipality where people meet each other and feel comfortable. The new coalition wants to continue the cooperation of the past four years with passion and new energy.
