Center Impulse Geldrop

The center of Geldrop will become a place where everyone feels at home, where there is room for people of all ages to live, and where amenities are within easy reach. We want to make this possible for more residents by building approximately 800 homes at various locations in and around the center.

Luchen

Luchen consists of several sub-areas, each in a different phase of development. In the coming period, construction will be in full swing, and the necessary preparations will be made for future housing development.

Build new schools

The municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo plans to build five new school buildings in Geldrop and Mierlo over the next few years. These include new buildings for the Dommeldalschool and Beneden Beekloopschool in the Skandia neighborhood, the Jozefschool in Zesgehuchten, the Van der Puttschool and Vijfblad at the Linze location, De Kersentuin in Mierlo, and the Puur Sang schools at the Loeswijk location.

Genoenhuizerweg housing development plan

In 2019, the municipality acquired the land of the former garden center at Genoenhuizerweg 6 in Geldrop.

The municipality plans to develop the plot in collaboration with Vastgoedregisseur B.V. for residential construction under a collective private commissioning (CPO) arrangement.

Refurbishment of Mayor Verheugt Street

We plan to redesign Mayor Verheugt Street (between Santheuvel-West and School Street). The preliminary design was available for public inspection from Friday, November 8 through Thursday, December 19, 2024. A walk-in evening was also held during this period.

Redevelopment of Dorpsstraat 210 in Mierlo

The property at Dorpsstraat 210 in Mierlo is set for a new future. The former town hall, which has been a familiar landmark in the heart of the village for many years, is being redeveloped into a contemporary space that meets the needs of today and tomorrow.
