Silver Service Badge
The Silver Service Award is a token of appreciation for residents and non-residents of the municipality who have made an exceptional contribution to the community of Geldrop-Mierlo through their volunteer work.
Applications are submitted to the mayor and city council. The award is presented during a festive ceremony.

Requirements
The nominee must:
- are known for being reliable and honest, and do not like to brag or act in a way that draws attention;
- have long served others or society voluntarily and without seeking personal gain;
- have no criminal record and have a good reputation.
The Requirements the nominee are:
- to be known for their reliability and integrity and to be averse to ostentation.
- for having rendered selfless service over a long period of time.
- to be of impeccable character.
