Handy! The free Cure Waste app
With the Cure Waste app, you always know when your waste will be collected. That way, you never have to remember which day to put your bin out on the street.
After downloading the app, you can indicate in the settings that you want to receive notifications. You will then automatically receive a message at a time that suits you, for example, the evening before collection day or in the morning. This will remind you in good time that your waste is being collected. The app also shows you what type of waste is collected and when. This is useful if you want to quickly check when, for example, organic waste, paper, or residual waste is due to be collected.
Sometimes collection times change temporarily. For example, due to slippery conditions, a garbage truck breakdown, or adjusted collection days around public holidays. The app can also send you notifications about this. To receive these notifications, it is important that you enable push notifications in the app settings (top right of the app).
The Cure Waste app is available for iOS and Android (version 4.4 or higher).
