Nuisance caused by young people kicking doors? It might be a TikTok trend
The municipality wants to alert residents to a trend that is spreading among young people on social media. In this trend, young people film themselves kicking the doors of homes or buildings and share these videos on TikTok.
If this happens to you, it can be startling. A loud kick against the door may seem like intentional harassment or a personal act, but in many cases it appears to be an online trend in which young people challenge each other.
