Fair in Geldrop
This year, the fair in Geldrop will take place from September 5 through 9. The fair is spread across three locations: De Meent, Heuvel, and Marktplein.
To ensure that the area around the fair remains easily accessible, several traffic measures will be implemented. In addition, you may experience some parking difficulties, and the setup and takedown of the fair may cause noise.
Traffic Measures The attractions will be set up on Marktplein, on the Heuvel, on the Meent, and on Horecaplein. Marktplein and the Meent will therefore be closed to traffic. This also applies to part of Horecaplein and Wielstraat. Residents will still be able to drive in and out of their streets.
Fair Setup: From September 2 at 4:00 p.m. through September 5 at 10:00 p.m. You will no longer be able to park inside the cordoned-off area after 4:00 p.m.
Fair Hours
· September 5: 12:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. (12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. low-stimulation fair)
· September 6: 1:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
· September 7: 2:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
· September 8: 2:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
· September 9: 1:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Weekly Market On Wednesday afternoon, September 9, the traditional fair will be held on Dommeldalseweg. The parking lots at Machinaal and Bezorgershof will remain open. Residents of the De Burght neighborhood can access their homes as usual via Vincentiusstraat. We ask that you refrain from parking cars on Dommeldalseweg and in the parking lot in front of the former post office starting at 6:00 a.m. on September 9.
Motorhome Parking Lot From Monday, August 31, at 8:00 a.m. through September 17 at 6:00 p.m., the operators of Dekermis attractions will temporarily park their motorhomes and RVs in the VV Braakhuizen parking lot.
