Job Opening: Member of the Senzer Regional Client Council
The independent Regional Client Council advocates for the interests of Senzer’s clients. We provide Senzer with both solicited and unsolicited advice on all matters related to employment, income, and the Participation Act. The Regional Client Council (RCR) expressly does not deal with the Social Support Act (WMO), the Youth Act, or municipal minimum income policies.
Seeking experts with practical experience in work and income
Currently, we have too few members. That is why the RCR is looking for new members, particularly from Asten, Deurne, Gemert-Bakel, Geldrop-Mierlo, and Someren. This role is ideally suited for people who are or have been clients of Senzer and want to use their experience to help others.
What does the Regional Client Council do?
The Regional Client Council serves as the voice of clients. The RCR provides feedback on how policies and regulations play out in practice and where improvements are possible or necessary. In this way, it acts as the link between policies on paper and the daily reality of clients.
As a member of the client council:
- you do not focus on your own situation, but represent the best interests of clients as a whole;
- use your own experiences to make things better for others;
- That is precisely when you can make a difference by turning these experiences into concrete improvements for other clients and into policies that better reflect real-world practice;
- Do you have ideas on how to improve rules, procedures, and services?
Who is looking for the RCR?
The RCR is looking for residents who:
- live in one of the following municipalities: Asten, Deurne, Geldrop-Mierlo, Gemert-Bakel, Helmond, Laarbeek, and Someren;
- have personal experience with Senzer, or have been closely involved with someone who has had to deal with it;
- be willing to apply their experience to the broader client perspective;
- wish to contribute ideas regarding policy and developments in the areas of employment and income;
- would like to read the policy documents or discuss them.
You cannot become a member if you:
- holds a political office;
- are employed by the Senzer organization (people with a Wsw employment contract at Senzer are eligible for membership);
- or are employed by one of the member municipalities (Asten, Deurne, Helmond, Laarbeek, Geldrop-Mierlo, Gemert-Bakel, and Someren);
Practical Information

- Day and time: Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
- New members receive an orientation program and guidance, so you can get up to speed at your own pace.
