Bravoflex isn’t a regular bus or a taxi as you know them. It’s flexible, on-demand transportation: a minibus or taxi picks you up at a local stop and takes you to a larger public transit transfer stop. Within our municipality, theBravoflex stop at the station in Geldrop is a so-called transfer stop. This transfer stop is already fully operational: travelers can use it and book their trips as intended. From there, you continue your journey by bus or train. Without unnecessary waiting. Without detours.
A smart choice for your trip
A ride costs two euros if there are no scheduled buses running at that time. When scheduled buses are running, a ride costs five euros.Bravoflex will operate seven days a week, from early morning until late at night. The rides are provided by regional taxi companies.
Exactly where it's needed
On weekends or in the evenings, regular buses run less frequently. Some areas have no bus service at all. That’s whereBravoflex makes a difference. Throughout Brabant, more than 200 special stops have been installed in rural areas, hamlets, and industrial parks. This helps small towns and suburbs connect better to public transportation in the rest of the province. “So it really is a supplement to public transportation, not a replacement for it. This way, everyone can continue to participate. And we make many more trips and encounters possible,” says Alderman van de Laar.
From stop to stop
WithBravoflex, you can also travel directly from stop to stop in your area. This allows you to skip the transfer stop and travel directly to your chosen final stop. The maximum travel distance is 25 kilometers. However, you will pay a higher fare: a boarding fee of 5.60 euros and a per-kilometer rate of 0.97 cents per kilometer (2025 rates). You can easily book this trip in the app, by phone, or via the website.
How does it work?
- Book your ride at least 1 hour before departure via the Bravoflex app or by phone (088 076 0000)
- Select your departure or arrival stop and your preferred time.
- Please indicate the number of passengers and whether you are traveling with a wheelchair, stroller, or pet (children 11 and under travel free with a paying adult).
- Pay securely with iDEAL or by debit card in the taxi.
