The municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo truly believes that youth is our future. The youth policy plan is based on opportunities and possibilities for children to develop into active, independent, happy and responsible people. This means that we pay attention to talent development and teach young people to make a positive contribution to society.
Youth Work
The youth centers in Geldrop-Mierlo offer a place where young people can meet and participate in activities. Youth at healthy weight (JOGG).
Geldrop-Mierlo has been a JOGG municipality since 2015. JOGG stands for Jongeren Op Gezond Gewicht (Young People at a Healthy Weight). The municipality works together with institutions and companies to tackle and prevent obesity among children and young people.
Center for Social Participation (CMD).
