Village Street

Nuisance

• Maintenance is disgraceful. Gullies and grates are full of leaves;
  Gully opposite school emptied itself by resident, water does drain;
• During downpour, manhole cover pulled open in middle of street;
• Grate covers can help vent the sewer;
• About 10 minutes after the rainstorm, the street empties again. Word on the street is that the water board is pinching us in Eindhoven and it just seems, because the water suddenly goes away, as if a plug is pulled out somewhere;
• Well of rainwater opened up, then water drained away. Is that a short-term emergency solution?
• Are there any valves in the new sewer that have not yet been removed, and when was the sewer last inspected?
• Is there another valve somewhere?
• Is rainwater sewer connected to anything?

Municipality

• Insurer is^1st point of contact for personal injury, not the municipality;
• Questions in mail remain unanswered;
• Agree on closing off problem areas with fences and ribbons to prevent impoundment.

Wersakker

Nuisance

• In both showers, the street filled up within 10 minutes;
• Water stays on the street for hours and then is immediately gone;
• Garages flooded. In the sitting pit, water enters through the cavity. 20-30 cm of water against facade. Water enters over sills;
• Are there additional transfer pumps and are they working?
• Despite 15 cm bulkheads around the house, resident has already had house completely flooded 10x;
• Solutions residents:
  • Lowering dog poop areas;
  • Ditch Geldropseweg and rear ditch and basins are dry, lead there?
  • Luchen Wetering under the canal opening;
  • Open well?

Municipality

• Groundwater level in the Wersakker too high?
• Adriaans seen little in the context of maintenance;
• Since redesign of Santheuvel problems have arisen, including bike lane.

• Reservoir on Sang can handle 12,000 m3, but only had 20 cm of water in it;
• Parking garage of apartment complex had 1.5 meters of water in it. No alternative to wadi!
• There are 230-volt outlets in parking garage. Risk of short circuits and power outages throughout the district;
• Is sewer system from Neerakker to Sang functioning at all?
• In Helmond, the much water on the street was a venting problem. Open lids would solve it.

Barley

Nuisance

• Water on the front and back for the first time in 28 years;
• Through drainage well water in garage and house;
• In the gully past the house, the odor trap was in the wrong place;
• Water came through the chimney, stood 3 bricks high;
• 30-40 cm water up to knees, water came in through cavity;
• Water entered the street like a river, quickly ran off again after the downpour;
• Stool cleanup not done well;
• There are weirs in the Goorloop to keep the water level in the ditch high;
• Groundwater level addressed a few years back?

• Years of problem;
• Water enters through shower drain;

• Emergency wadis work but cannot handle everything, especially no storage when groundwater levels are high;
• Water flows into the street like a river.

Nuisance

• Not a problem of late, for years streets have been flooded during a thunderstorm. When toilet bubbles, resident goes to empty basement;
• Houses built high, water in the basement;
• Water over curb;
• On Beemd Street and Ziggen Street, manhole covers are off the manhole head. Dangerous!
• Feces on the street very annoying, faster sweeping;
• Lid drainage lifted allowing water to leave faster;
• Pump drainage turns on after shower (is due to groundwater);
• Connection between wastewater and drainage?
• Solutions:
  • Across Beemdstraat is swamp and Dommel , shelter possible there?
  • Wadi Ziggen Street.
