Strong Interest in an Inspirational Meeting About a Fund for Geldrop-Mierlo
On May 27, an inspirational meeting was held at the Weeffabriek to discuss a potential fund for Geldrop-Mierlo. Entrepreneurs, organizations, institutions, and other interested parties received more information about the opportunities such a fund could offer for joint investments in areas such as promotion, events, accessibility, and safety.
The fund is intended for a broad range of organizations, including entrepreneurs, healthcare institutions, cultural organizations, sports clubs, schools, and neighborhood associations. Because the current name does not fully clarify who the fund is intended for, a new name will be announced shortly.
During the meeting, two inspiring speakers shared their experiences with an entrepreneurial fund. Using real-life examples from Helmond, they demonstrated how a fund can foster collaboration and support local initiatives. The presentation from that evening is available on the city’s website (link).
Blaauwberg, the firm investigating the feasibility of a fund for Geldrop-Mierlo, also provided an update on the ongoing study. Visitors were able to ask questions and share ideas. The meeting was well attended and marked a valuable step in exploring the possibility of a fund for Geldrop-Mierlo.
More meetings will be held in the coming period. Those interested will be kept informed of further developments through this newsletter and the municipality’s website.
