Bravoflex’s Sunny Regional Launch: Alderman the Festive Bus Ride

Under a bright spring sun, Southeast Brabant welcomed a new mode of transportation on Thursday. Bravoflex officially launched with a celebratory ride through Heeze-Leende, Geldrop-Mierlo, and Nuenen. On board: Alderman van de Laar.

Bravoflex does things a little differently. No fixed routes or schedules—just transportation that adapts to your day. You can easily book a ride from any nearby bus stop using the Bravoflex app or by phone. The bus will then take you to a Bravoflex transfer point, such as a bus or train station. This is especially handy when regular public transportation isn’t always available.

Smarter and more accessible transportation

Alderman de Laar: “With Bravoflex, we’re taking an important step toward smarter and more accessible transportation in our municipality. It offers residents greater flexibility and makes it easier to get from A to B, especially in places and at times when that isn’t always straightforward. It’s also important that we finally have a good connection to the train station in Geldrop. This makes it just a bit easier for our residents to get around. Whether you live in Mierlo and want to go to Geldrop in the evening, or have an appointment downtown during the day: this transportation fits better with daily life. This way, we ensure that everyone in our municipality can continue to participate.”

Looking ahead

The focus is now also on the future. For example, an additional stop will soon be added in Mierlo, near ZOO Eindhoven. In addition, the possibility of Bravoflex serving the Anna Hospital in the future is being explored. With its launch in Southeast Brabant, Bravoflex is now available throughout the province. In this region alone, 83 new stops will be added. This will also improve connections to the Brabant public transit network for smaller towns, industrial parks, and suburbs.
