Silver Service Medal for Leon van Stiphout
On Saturday, September 26, at 2:30 p.m., Alderman Frans Stravers will present the Silver Badge of Honor from the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo to Mr. L.M.H. van Stiphout.
The award ceremony will take place at Marjo Lingerie, located at 19 Korte Kerkstraat in Geldrop. As he has reached retirement age, he is stepping down from his business activities and his role as treasurer of Centrummanagement Centrum Geldrop.
Leon van Stiphout and Marjo Lingerie have been household names in Geldrop and the surrounding area for 33 years. In addition, he served as unpaid treasurer of the Geldrop Centrum Merchants’ Association for over 25 years and later of Centrummanagement Geldrop Centrum.
In recognition of his hard work and dedication to the community, as well as his selfless service to Centrummanagement Geldrop Centrum, he is receiving the Silver Badge of Honor from the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo.
