Election advertising policy rules
The creation of election advertising in the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo is subject to rules. On July 1, 2025, the mayor and aldermen adopted a designation decision stipulating how election advertising may be created in the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo. Method
In the municipal elections, each participating party may submit two digital posters, one for Geldrop and one for Mierlo. In all other elections, the same banner will be displayed in both locations.
If you are supplying two posters, please clearly indicate which poster is intended for the banner in Mierlo and which for the banner in Geldrop. It is, of course, permitted to supply the same poster for both banners.
In all other elections, each participating party may submit one digital poster.
Deadline to deliver digital poster
We kindly request that you submit the digital poster to us as early as possible. The digital poster(s) must be received by us no later than Tuesday, February 10, 2026, in order to be included on the election banner.
You can email the poster(s) toverkiezingen@geldrop-mierlo.nl with a request to place the submitted poster on the election banner.
Format digital poster
The digital poster must be supplied in A1 format (841 x 595 mm) portrait poster with bleed (no white edges) in HR (high resolution), preferably an .EPS file. We can also process .PNG or .JPG files.
Placement of election banners
The banners will be put up on February 23, 24, and 25, 2026.

7. Gijzenrooiseweg corner Yavanne
8. Bogardeind corner Houterbrugweg
9. Heuvel (parking lot)
B. Mierlo:
10. Molenplein
11. Bekelaar opposite the Dwerguil
12. Santheuvel-west near the Heer van Scherpenzeelweg roundabout
13. Geldropseweg near Ambachtweg
14. Geldropseweg near Santheuvel-west
Advertising in and outside the polling place
No activities aimed at influencing voters in their choice may take place in the polling station. It is therefore prohibited to place election advertising in or in the immediate vicinity of a polling station on election day.
