Building a connected neighborhood together

Woonbedrijf and Anna zorggroep are working with the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo to support residents to maintain and, where possible, strengthen social cohesion in the Akert neighborhood. We are building not only housing but also community building. This is not something we want to impose on the neighborhood, but rather examine with the neighborhood and then flesh it out together. We examine what residents need and what is still needed. Based on this, Anna Zorggroep, Woonbedrijf and the municipality will draw up a joint plan of approach.

The approach will include the following phases:

• Research; What kind of neighborhood is the Akert. This has already been started.
• Perspective; What kind of neighborhood we want the Akert to be in the future.
• Implementation; How do we work together to ensure that the Akert remains a neighborhood with social cohesion.
