Reconstruction of Adelaartlaan and Construction of Blauwe Ader
Adelaartlaan will be redesigned in the coming period. At the same time, the municipality is constructing what is known as a “Blue Vein.” This is a system for collecting and draining rainwater, which reduces the risk of flooding during heavy rain.
In addition to the construction of the Blauwe Ader, the sewer system, paving, and green spaces will also be renovated. The design of the public spaces will also be improved. Ultimately, these projects will create a safer, greener, and climate-resilient living environment.
The work will take a year
The work is extensive and will be carried out in several phases. The work is expected to take about one year. Residents of the section of Adelaartlaan from the curve near the apartment buildings to the far end of the street, in particular, may experience disruptions for an extended period.
Temporarily less accessible
During the various phases of the work, access to homes may be temporarily limited. It’s also possible that cars won’t always be able to park right in front of homes. Where necessary, temporary walking and parking routes will be marked. We’ll do our best to maintain access to homes as much as possible. If access changes, we’ll notify residents in advance.

Throughout the project, we will keep residents informed about the schedule, the various phases of the work, and changes in accessibility. As soon as more information becomes available regarding the schedule and the start of construction, we will share it on this website and with the residents directly affected.
