Environment and thrift store
Some types of waste do not belong in your trash bin. These include broken electrical appliances, construction and demolition waste, metal, and Household Hazardous Waste. You can safely and responsibly dispose of these items at the recycling center.
Do you have items that are still in good condition, such as furniture, lamps, or household appliances? Don’t throw them away. Drop them off at the thrift store so someone else can enjoy them.

Many items we want to throw away are actually still perfectly usable. Think of furniture, crockery, toys, or appliances. By donating them to a thrift store, they get a second life.
