Royal Honor for Hanneke Meulendijk-van de Pasch
During the city council meeting on June 15, Mayor Jos van Bree presented a royal honor to Ms. H.F.P. (Hanneke) Meulendijk-van de Pasch.
She was appointed a Member of the Order of Orange-Nassau. The insignia accompanying this honor were presented during the public council meeting at ’t Plein in City Hall.
Ms. Meulendijk-van de Pasch served on the Geldrop-Mierlo City Council for over twenty years. From 2006 to 2010, she was a member of the citizens’ committee, and since 2010, she has served as a council member representing DPM. During her tenure on the council, she deliberately chose to focus on spatial planning and served on the Spatial Planning Committee. In addition, she served on the employers’ committee starting in 2018, serving as its chair for the last four years. She was also a member of the waste advisory group.
Due to her appointment as Alderman , she Alderman no longer Alderman on the city council.
