Redevelopment of Dorpsstraat 210: Next Step in 2027
Preparations for the redevelopment of Dorpsstraat 210 in Mierlo are taking longer than expected. The parking study needed to properly assess the site’s potential is taking more time than anticipated. The municipality expects the development criteria to be finalized in the first quarter of 2027.
A clear picture of the parking situation is important for determining the options available for the redevelopment of Dorpsstraat 210. That is why the municipality is taking the extra time needed to carefully complete the study. This is expected to be finished this month. Afterward, the municipality will further refine the development criteria. Once this is complete, the municipality can take the next steps in the redevelopment. Consequently, the second round of dialogue with stakeholders will also be postponed to the first quarter of 2027.
Relocation of the Dommel Valley Office
In November, Dienst Dommelvallei will move to its new office in Helmond. At that time, Gaph will take over management of the building at Dorpsstraat 210. The exact future use of the location is not yet known. The municipality will inform residents as soon as more details are available.
