Do you enjoy driving and want to make a difference in someone else’s life? Become a volunteer with ANWB AutoMaatje!
ANWB AutoMaatje is a transportation service in which volunteers use their own cars to take residents with limited mobility to appointments. These might include visits to the hospital, the doctor, family members, the supermarket, or social activities. This helps people stay mobile and connected with others.
More and more residents of Geldrop-Mierlo are turning to AutoMaatje. That’s why we’re looking for new volunteer drivers.
Do you have a driver’s license, your own car, and some spare time now and then? Then we’re looking for you! You decide when to take a ride, so this volunteer work is very flexible. Even just one ride a week or a month can make a big difference for someone who can’t get around on their own.
The AutoMaatje service center in Geldrop-Mierlo handles the scheduling of rides. You will always be asked in advance whether a ride fits into your schedule. In addition, you will receive a mileage allowance for the rides you complete.
