Neighborhood approach Enexis

Enexis is working with a contractor to upgrade the power grid in various neighborhoods. We are handling the permits and securing space for additional electrical substations and cables.

According to the schedule, work in Geldrop-Mierlo is set to begin in 2027. The outskirts of Mierlo will be the first area to be addressed. The center of Geldrop and Zesgehuchten will follow in 2029.

That doesn’t mean nothing is happening in other neighborhoods. If necessary, Enexis will also carry out work in between projects. The schedule is subject to change. This depends, for example, on how quickly neighborhoods are becoming more sustainable, the processing of permits, the purchase of land, or unexpected situations such as extreme weather.

Before Enexis begins work in a neighborhood, residents always receive a letter with information about the schedule and the work to be done.
