Last Saturday, FreedomRun/LibertyLoop was dedicated to the 82nd anniversary of the liberation of Geldrop
Prior to the start, Mayor Jos van Bree welcomed Sir Henry Montgomery (grandson of General Bernard Montgomery) along with the daughters of war veterans Joe Cattini and Bill Pendell at City Hall.
The Geldrop-Mierlo Veterans Foundation provided a fitting welcome.
