HC Mierlo's New Clubhouse Officially Opened

According to Alderman , it’s not just a beautiful new building but, above all, a new home for the club. “A place where people come together around their passion for hockey, where children play their first games, and where volunteers dedicate themselves heart and soul to the club. I therefore hope that this new clubhouse will become a place where many wonderful memories are made—where new members feel at home, generations come together, and the club can continue to grow.” Finally, she thanked everyone who contributed to the construction of the beautiful pavilion.

The old clubhouse, built in 1985, no longer met the needs of the growing club. With six locker rooms, a spacious cafeteria, bleachers, and a beautiful view of the hockey fields, the new, sustainable pavilion offers plenty of space for the more than 750 members and 40 teams.

The municipality commissioned Bouwbedrijf Van Gerven from Luchen to build the clubhouse. Factors such as quality, functionality, sustainability, and price played an important role in the selection of the contractor. With its renovated facilities
and three modern hockey fields, HC Mierlo is ready for the future.
