North Brabant 2026 Shopping Trends Study Kicks Off
Together with the other municipalities in North Brabant, the municipality is committed to creating attractive downtown areas, village centers, and a diverse range of retail and dining options. To make the right decisions in this regard, the North Brabant 2026 Shopping Trends Survey is launching this week. The study will identify where and how residents and visitors do their grocery shopping, shop for other items, visit restaurants and bars, and how they rate various shopping areas.
All municipalities in North Brabant are participating in the survey. Residents of neighboring areas in the Netherlands and Belgium are also being asked about their purchasing behavior. The survey is being conducted by the firms Ipsos I&O and Movares.
The results help our municipality and local businesses further strengthen our shopping districts and amenities. They also highlight how shopping behavior in the province has evolved compared to previous years. The most recent retail traffic survey in North Brabant was conducted in 2021.
