Safe Home Reporting Code - PlusTeam
The "Compulsory Reporting Code for Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Act" has been in place since 2013. That law means that all organizations working with children and adults must have a reporting code, in case an unsafe situation occurs in the families they work with.
The PlusTeam also adheres to that reporting code. In doing so, we follow the five mandatory steps of the reporting code of domestic violence and child abuse:
- Map signals
- Consultation with colleagues or consultation with Safe House
- Conversation with you
- Assess ("weigh") the severity of the violence or child abuse, in case of doubt always consult Safe House
- Decide: organize help or report to the Child Protection Council (protection table) or Safe Home. This step is announced to you and to the manager of the PlusTeam.
