How do I sign up for the PlusTeam?

You cannot register yourself with the PlusTeam.
So how do you come to us? There are 2 ways:
If a report is made to Safe Home, Safe Home may decide that you should be reported to the PlusTeam.
The CMD may also refer you to the PlusTeam. The CMD may find that your question covers a variety of topics. They may also think it would be desirable to have someone think with your family for a longer period of time. These are reasons to think about the PlusTeam. If the CMD thinks, that you are a better fit for the PlusTeam, they will discuss that with you.
If you agree with the referral, you can be placed on the PlusTeam's waiting list. The PlusTeam employs SKJ-registered youth care professionals.
Waiting list
There is a waiting list at the PlusTeam. With regularity you will receive an email from the PlusTeam during that period.
Signed up and then?
The PlusTeam works with a notification team. These are employees of the PlusTeam who make the initial contact. In a few appointments they will make an overview of the questions you have. They will also discuss with you which people in your environment can be a support. We can also agree that you will invite these people to think about the situation with you. This information together then forms your "family plan.
Once that is done, these PlusTeam staff members will ask the best-fit colleagues to begin providing the support to your family.
