Geldrop-Mierlo Sports Gala - Nominate your sports champion now!
In 2024 and 2025, athletes and volunteers who live or play sports in Geldrop-Mierlo once again achieved outstanding results. We had a lot of fun together, trained hard, and, of course, achieved great things in the world of sports. All these achievements will be celebrated during the Geldrop-Mierlo Sports Gala on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 't Patronaat in Mierlo.
Register your sports champion
During the Geldrop-Mierlo Sports Gala, various championship achievements, large and small, will be honored. No one is excluded, because inclusive sports are extremely important. That is why it is important for the residents of Geldrop and Mierlo to nominate their sports champions. Nominate your sports champion now for one of the following categories:
- Sports volunteer of the year
- Talent through 18 years of the year
- Athlete/Sports team of the year
- Sports coach of the year
- Sports initiative of the year
Inclusivity is a high priority within our municipality. This means that the categories Talent up to 18 years old and Athlete/sports team of the year are also open to our Unique Athletes. No one is excluded! Detailed information about the categories and the registration form can be found on the Leef! website. Sports champions can be registered until January 15, 2026.
