Waste paper and cardboard collection is changing

We are going to collect waste paper and cardboard more efficiently. That is why, from now on, we will collect it once every four weeks instead of once every two weeks. In addition, we are installing underground containers in more and more places. This means that the garbage truck will have to drive through your street less often and less paper will blow away.

How and when is waste collected?

You can see exactly when your waste paper will be collected on the waste calendar at www.mijnafvalwijzer.nl and in the Cure Waste App.

Below are a few tips:

  • Collect all old paper and cardboard carefully; it will be recycled into new paper.
  • Place your waste paper and cardboard on the curb by 7:00 a.m. on collection day, next to a public thoroughfare.
  • Prevent it from blowing away: offer it in boxes or tied together with rope.
  • If possible, place the paper in a cardboard box. It can be taken away immediately.
  • If you do offer it in your own crate or plastic container, please note that Cure is not responsible if it gets lost or damaged.
  • Health the packages are convenient in size and weight.
  • Not in the recycling bin: milk and juice cartons, pizza boxes, plastic, Styrofoam.

Do you live in a flat or apartment? Then you may sometimes use communal containers for waste paper.
