Street lighting maintenance

We are replacing outdated street lighting. The old, energy-inefficient fixtures are being replaced by new energy-efficient fixtures equipped with LEDs that emit white light, direct the light more accurately, consume less energy, and are dimmable. Replacing the fixtures may result in a different lighting experience than before. This will require a period of adjustment.

In the week starting Monday, February 23, Heijmans will commence work on (part of) the following streets in Mierlo:

Duck pond, Sint Sebastiaanweg, Hogtsedijk, Lungendonksebaan, Goorsedijk, Bekelaar, Sanghorst, Loeswijk, and Heiderschoor.

At this time it is not possible to indicate exactly when work will take place on which street. There may be some disruption to traffic during the work.

Energy Savings

These replacements will enable us to achieve further energy savings and thereby contribute to one of the objectives of the Energy Agreement, namely reducing energy consumption in public lighting.
