New construction of Van der Puttschool and Vijfblad Children's Center
At the Linze site, located between De Kievit sports hall and the Vijfblad Child Care Center, we expect to begin construction in 2028 on a multifunctional facility for the Van der Puttschool and Vijfblad Child Care Centers. The Van der Puttschool on Parallelweg is outdated and will be replaced by residential housing. The Vijfblad Child Care Center is also in need of replacement.

The new building may also house other organizations, such as a daycare center, for example. The vacant Linze site is already zoned "social purposes. The plans for the new building are under development.
Information and participation
We involve local residents in the development of plans for the new location. Parents of schoolchildren are also involved. We work together with the schools on this. For example, community dialogues will be organized and a sounding board group has been set up.
Traffic
A new, larger school will bring with it additional traffic. The neighborhood, the schools, and the municipality have all expressed a desire to keep car traffic away from the schools in the neighborhood. This will be taken into account in the development of the plans.
Planning
Construction of this new children's center is expected to begin in 2028.
