Documents on the Future of the Akert Neighborhood

Significant changes are coming to the northern part of the Akert neighborhood in Geldrop-Mierlo in the coming years. Wooninc. plans to acquire the De Akert residential building from Anna Zorggroep and develop age-friendly housing there. Woonbedrijf is working on plans for affordable rental apartments on Appelaar. Together with the municipality and the Verbonden Wijk program, we are building a neighborhood where pleasant living and looking out for one another are central.
