Think Ahead, always handy

In the Netherlands, we almost always have electricity, water, and internet. You may prefer not to think about it, but something unexpected can always happen. In an emergency situation, such as a storm, flood, or major power outage, these services can suddenly be cut off. The government and emergency services do what they can. But in the first three days—the first 72 hours—we have to rely on ourselves and the people around us. Have you thought about having an emergency supply of food, enough money, candles, or charged batteries in your home?
