Advice note decision on objection Entrance Strabrecht College

Multiple objections to the granting of an environmental permit to convert a temporary driveway to a (modified) regular driveway for Strabrecht College.

The College decides:
1. To declare the objections admissible.
2. To declare the objections unfounded.
3. Inform the objectors that this decision can be appealed to the court.

Signing Covenant on biobased building and growing in the MRE

Research by the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region (MRE) shows that there are opportunities for biobased building and growing in the region. Biobased building can contribute to sustainable use of materials within the urban area and growing biobased crops offers opportunities for agricultural entrepreneurs in the rural area. To stimulate biobased building and cultivation within the region, a covenant has been drawn up.

The college decides:
1. To agree to sign the Covenant on bio-based building and growing in the MRE.
2. To mandate Alderman Stravers and Alderman Van Gestel to sign the Covenant on behalf of the Municipality.
3. To inform the city council about this by means of the attached council information letter.

Advisory Memorandum Adopt Inspraaknotitie Tackling Groundwater Flooding Wersakker

During the public consultation period (10-9-2024 to 22-10-2024) for addressing groundwater flooding in the Wersakker, we were able to receive a number of views from residents. These have been summarized in a public participation memorandum.

The college decides to adopt the public participation memorandum for addressing groundwater flooding Wersakker, dated 19-11-2024.

Advisory Note Granting Entrepreneurship Fund 2024

Stichting Centrummanagement Geldrop and Stichting Centrum- en Lintenmanagement Mierlo have submitted a request for grant Entrepreneur Fund 2025.

The college decides:
1. to grant Foundation Centrummanagement Geldrop a subsidy of € 110,420 for 2025.
2. To grant Stichting Centrum- en Lintenmanagement Mierlo a subsidy of € 55,375 for 2025.

Cover page college proposal deployment of shared cars

This proposal focuses on the promotion and deployment of shared cars. On the one hand, as a tool to set an example as a municipality in the context of society's sustainability goals, and on the other hand, to initiate a major impetus for sustainable shared mobility for residents and other organizations within the residential municipality.

The college decides:
1. To approve the use of shared cars for the municipal organization Geldrop-Mierlo.
2. To agree on the proposal of OnzeAuto for the deployment of shared cars for employees (and residents) of the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo.
3. To commission an interest survey among residents. 4. Cover the costs from the sustainability budgets task area 7.4.

Advisory note DO Genoenhuizerweg - Low Geldrop

The location Genoenhuizerweg 6 (Laag Geldrop) is being developed for housing. The zoning procedure has now been completed. Following this, the municipality must prepare the plan area for construction and housing and organize the public space. A (preliminary) design has been drawn up for this purpose, which has been made available for inspection. The results of this have been described in the public participation memorandum, which have led to a modified final design.

The college decides to approve the final design for the public space of Genoenhuizerweg 6 et al.

Advisory note Auction grounds Mierlo

On June 1, 2023, we received a request in principle for an environmental permit for the construction of 66 new homes on the Veilingterrein in Mierlo. This request has been tested for feasibility. The outcome is that we consider housing at the location in question to be conceivable, however, not with this plan.

The college decides:
1. The official opinion, to consider the plan as submitted, not to be proposable. 

2. The proposal to have a new plan reviewed for proposability if all frameworks provided by official advice are met.
3. To schedule an administrative consultation with Compaen.
