Do you want to vote in the House of Representatives elections on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, in a municipality other than where you live? Then you need a voter's pass. With a voter card you can vote in any municipality in the Netherlands. The voter card replaces your voting pass.

How do you apply for a voter ID card?
- Oral applications
Make an appointment at the Public Affairs desk of City Hall. This can be done from Wednesday, October 8, 2025 through Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at noon. Make an appointment through www.geldrop-mierlo.nl/afspraak-maken. Bring your voting card and a valid ID with you. If your application is approved, you will receive your voter ID card immediately. - Request in writing
Please use the model form K6-1. You can download this form at: www.geldrop-mierlo.nl/kiezerspasverkiezingen. Your request must reach the municipality no later than noon on Friday, October 24, 2025. Enclose a copy of your identification. Have you already received a voting card? If so, please include that as well.
You can submit the form:

- by mail: Municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo, Postbus 10101, 5660 GA Geldrop.
Requesting digitally

Important to know:
- A voter ID card cannot be replaced if lost.
- Starting Wednesday, October 8, 2025, we will send voter cards by mail. Because the mail is not delivered daily everywhere, we advise you to apply for the voter ID card on time.
- Are you going to vote? Always bring your voter's card and a valid ID with you. Your identification may not be older than 5 years.
Voter ID and proxy
A voter ID card can be converted to a private proxy. The diagram below shows the options. The proxy (the person voting on behalf of someone else) must cast the vote of the proxy (the person giving the proxy) at the same time as their own vote.

For a written power of attorney, use Form L8. You can download this form at: www.geldrop-mierlo.nl/volmacht-verkiezingen.
