Attention to healthy lifestyle
By linking physical exercise to walking meetings, they are thereby encouraging attention to a healthy lifestyle in their organizations, a spearhead of the three organizations' human resources policies. Too much sitting has a bad influence on health and well-being. By integrating physical exercise into daily work, employees become healthier, happier and more creative. Walking meetings also reduce health risks. In this way, an active lifestyle is easily integrated into work without having to take a special break for it. The length of the routes also contributes to other positive effects, such as effective meetings, increased creativity and engagement with colleagues.
Intertwined with Textile Route
By means of silver road markings with colored weaving weavers, the meeting walking routes once again make the connection with the weaving past of the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo. The routes of about 30 minutes lead through the Dommel valley, the Kasteelpark and the center, passing several historical sites from the weaving past of our municipality. The routes have as few obstacles and crossing points as possible and are easy to follow because of the markings.
There are starting points from the 3 locations, but you can hook up at any point. That makes it suitable for anyone who wants to meet in a small group in an active, healthy way, walk for lunch or just take a leisurely stroll.
