Vacancy Quality Enforcement Officer

Your challenge
As a quality enforcement officer, you are an important link between our enforcement ambitions and their implementation. Your role within the enforcement domain is a broad one. You have a facilitating, operational, project and policy implementation role. Below we would like to give some more insight into each part:
- Facilitating: You ensure that quality standards are met, we improve processes together and processes are clearly defined. You help our boas where necessary in the implementation of these processes. In addition, you Health together with the boas for a number of facilities, such as vehicles, clothing, systems and appointments.
- Operational: You organize a number of neighborhood inspections per year in our municipality. You have a role, together with our privacy officer, in the WPG. You follow up on the actions that come out of the audit.
- Project-based: You are responsible for (further) developing the preventive role of our enforcement. This means that you are proactively and early involved or connected to projects and developments in our municipality. In addition, you further develop the preventive working method of our boas, together with them.
- Policy implementation: Finally, you have an important role in the annual enforcement policy cycle. This role includes the preparation and monitoring of the VTH implementation and enforcement program and the annual VTH report. Writing college recommendations, answering council questions and supervising tenders and audits are part of your job.
You will foster a culture of collaboration and development within the team so that our work remains in line with developments in society and the needs of our residents. Your challenge is to strengthen the bridge between our enforcement ambitions and their implementation.

The Livability and Safety team, where you will be working, consists of 14 colleagues who are committed to public space supervision, building and housing supervision, environmental supervision, public order and safety, and disaster response. What can you expect from us
- A salary of up to €4,811 gross per month (based on 36 hours per week) depending on your education and experience (salary level October 1, 2024).
- Individual choice budget (IKB) of 17.05% on top of your salary.
- Variable working hours.

- You will also have access to a phone and laptop, and electric bicycles are available for work appointments.
- An employment contract for the duration of one year with the prospect of permanent employment.

Content We are looking for a colleague who possesses:
- HBO working and thinking level.
- Experience in supervision and enforcement.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and experience with quality management.
- Experience in writing policy papers and reports.
- The ability to improve and secure processes.
- Experience working within a government organization is a plus.
