Area work grant

What is it?

The municipality gives grants to local residents to organize a neighborhood, street or district activity. By organizing activities, residents get to know each other better. This improves the quality of life in your neighborhood or street. People talk to each other more easily, pay more attention to each other and want to do more for each other. The municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo considers the quality of life in its neighborhoods so important that we provide subsidies to promote it. For example, we help you financially with organizing an activity. We always advise you to contact the area director from your neighborhood to discuss your plans in advance. They can support you in the organization. You will find the contact information of our area directors at the bottom of this page.
